About Us
The Old Rectory Nursing Home provides quality care in a warm, friendly environment where residents are encouraged to take active participation in daily activities, exercising their personal rights and freedom of choice in all areas of care.
The Georgian home has been sympathetically converted and extended to provide excellent accommodation whilst meeting the special requirements of residents all of whom have a room on either the first or ground floors of the building., some of these rooms having en-suite facilities.
All staff are committed to the professional care of residents with an emphasis on individual patient care in a homely environment to enhance the care experience for all.
Who are we?
The Old Rectory Nursing Home is a private and individually owned care home which first established in 1985 as a family business and is still owned by the family to this present day.
The building is set away from the road and is fronted by a well-maintained garden. Over the years the building has undergone extensive alterations and adaptations to increase the capacity of its room and communal areas to ensure residents continually receive the best experience the home can offer.
Administration
The day-to-day administration of the Nursing Home is carried out on the premises, which ensures the maximum degree of control and efficiency in the running of the home.
Staff
The Old Rectory Nursing Home is committed to the continuing education of staff at all levels, encouraging the development of new skills and adoption of modern practices. This is achieved both in-house, via our training classroom and by attending external courses and seminars appropriate to professional and palliative care.
Fees
The fees for accommodation are as set by our local authority. Additional charges for nursing fees are paid for by the health authority.
